A disappointing loss

Welcome back guys! 

I wish that these blog posts weren't beginning to get so reparative. I know you guys look forward to reading something positive whenever you come and check my posts, but today all I have is some more upsetting news. Going into the game we were excited to end our season on a win streak winning last week’s game, hoping to win this game and our last. But this wasn't the case. Going into the first quarter Missouri Western went up 14-0 but we weren't worried because we knew that we would be able to put points on the board. By the end of the first quarter, we were able to score two touchdowns and tie it at 14-14 going into the second quarter. The whole second half was back and forth; our defense got a stop and then their defense stopped us. They scored a touchdown and then we scored a touchdown. By halftime the score was 21-21 and we were feeling confident that it was going to be a good game and we were going to come out with the win. We came out halftime struggling to put points on the board but luckily so did they. We able to score one touchdown and so were they in the third quarter and we started off the fourth quarter tied up at 28-28. But the fourth quarter is where it got messy. We couldn’t put any points on the board in the fourth quarter and they were able to score three times. This weekend is our last game of the season, so a win is crucial to end the season on the right note.
