Finally a win!

 Welcome back guys! We have some positive news to talk about today. As you guys know, the season hasn't gone the way that we have wanted it to so far. A lot of emotions have built up and we were able to let them all out on Lincoln University last Saturday. We started off the game with a touchdown and then the defense came out and got a turn over! We took advantage of the turn over and scored again going up 14-0. Our defense came out again and got another stop but couldn't capitalize. Our defense kept going and we kept scoring. The defense had an amazing game forcing 5 turn overs almost tying the UCM single game record. By half time the score was 65-14. This is what we expected going into the game and it felt good to see that it actually had flourished the way we wanted. It felt good to show that we are a good team because it is something that we have known. Going into the second half we put our back ups in and stopped taking as many shots. This allowed Lincoln to score a little more but we continued to put points on the board. The final score was 77-35 improving our record to 3-6. This Saturday we travel to play Missouri Western a 4-5 team. We are looking for good news for our next blog!
